Comparison
Wix vs a custom website in Ghana
Wix is enough for a simple site you edit yourself, if you are not matching MoMo payments. A custom site is the better buy when the website is how you sell, or a system your team will run for years.

Keep Wix for a simple site
If you have a few pages, you like editing them, and the site does not take orders that finance must match, Wix can be the whole thing. Pay the subscription and spend your time on the business.
Move when the website has a job
Move when you need your own design, pages written for the searches you want, and a checkout that records MoMo the way finance expects. A five-page site starts at GHS 6,000. With a .com and hosting paid each month, the first year is GHS 6,948. Custom design and payments finance can match start at GHS 14,500.
Keep the Wix addresses that already bring calls, or send each one to the new page, and launch the new site before the Wix subscription ends.
Common questions
- Will I lose my Google rankings if I leave Wix?
- You keep rankings when the new site uses the same important URLs, or redirects each old URL to the matching new page. Plan that map before the Wix subscription ends.
- Can I still edit pages after a custom build?
- Yes. Professional includes a CMS or a light admin so your team can update content without a developer for every sentence.
