Pharmacy POS
A pharmacy POS has to know which box you sold. DwumaPOS asks for the batch and the expiry date when the medicine arrives. At the POS, it warns you if that batch is close to expiry, and it sells the one that expires first.

When stock comes in, you enter the batch and the expiry before it goes on the shelf. When the cashier scans it, the POS tells them if it is near expiry. You are not walking the shelf at the end of the month to guess.
Prescriptions stay with the pharmacist. Medicines people can buy without a prescription can also be on your website. The website uses the same stock as the POS, so the last box is not sold twice, once at the counter and once on WhatsApp.
The customer can pay MoMo, cash, or card on the POS. If a rider takes an over-the-counter order, the cash they collect is recorded on that sale. It is the same stock the POS already reduced.
If you need a GRA e-VAT invoice, turn on the Ghana tax setting in the POS. Ask your pharmacist or your accountant whether you need it. This page is not tax advice.
Before you tell customers you deliver, take one MoMo payment on the POS and one website order for the same item. If MoMo is still pending, the sale is not paid yet. DwumaPOS has a short checklist for that test.
Medicines that do not need a prescription can be ordered on the DwumaPOS website. Your rider delivers that order, and any cash they collect is written on the POS sale. The batch comes off the same stock.
